LACKEY STADIUM SUITE ROBOT
A service robot that lives in the suite section of major sport stadiums, designed to enhance fans’ immersion in the game and to deliver food and beverages directly to fans’ seats.
PRIMARY RESEARCH
The suite and club sections of TQL Stadium, home of the FC Cincinnati soccer club, were toured and studied to gain an understanding of the current systems in place, within modern sports stadiums.
Understanding the integration of robotics with stadium suites and the interactions with fans and stakeholders, through a task flow analysis.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
Refining component architecture and scale of the robot through early prototyping. A low fidelity model is used to test ergonomic solutions and understand size, in the context of a stadium suite.
Creating concept variations to test which concept is best perceived as
approachable and suitable for the context of a stadium suite.
